cost4travel is the latest travel planning tool that helps you effectively establish your travel budget and/or identify the “market price” for a wide range of travel services. Using cost information shared by other travellers, cost4travel displays the lowest, highest, and average prices based on your travel details: location, date, and service categories and levels.

With cost4travel, you can also view travellers' comments on travel service suppliers, precisely determine price versus quality, and therefore make the right choice for your transportation, accommodation, activities and other day-to-day travel needs.

cost4travel is not a travel search engine. We do not search travel sites and display the prices which the suppliers –airlines, hotel properties, car rental companies etc– publish on these sites.

cost4travel relies exclusively on the information that you and other travellers are willing to share with cost4travel, and subsequently the travel community. When you follow what we hope are simple and comprehensive steps, cost4travel lets you share your travel costs for flights, accommodation, car rental, ferry, train and any other other form of ground transportation.

There is no obligation to provide your personal details such as name and/or email address. Registration is only required if you wish to take advantage of additional services like My Trips and My Alerts.

However, we ask you to provide us, when possible, with some high level information about yourself, in order to stablish pricing trends and analyses per categories of travellers.

cost4travel aims to be the site of reference for “traveller-generated” travel costs. This implies:

• that the majority of travellers like you share your travel costs whenever you are out there discovering the world, so that cost4travel manages a wide range of cost information and becomes relevant to travellers worldwide;
• making sure that cost4travel addresses all the travel services that are part of your travel plans for your destinations of choice.

We welcome any comment you may wish to share regarding your experience with any travel supplier, so that cost4travel brings valuable information to travellers.

cost4travel is currently in its beta development stage, which means that our software is being reviewed and optimised. Once this phase is completed, our objective is to let you share and/or access travel cost information in real time, via your mobile devices, making cost4travel an essential travel planning tool during your trip as well.

We will also provide localized versions, so that if you are Spanish-, German-, or French-speaking, you can share and/or search travel cost information easily.

As experienced travellers, you will have opinions and ideas on where cost4travel needs to go next, the services it needs to address, or areas of development.
